Graham Firth ARE

Graham works from a garden shed using a handmade wooden press powered by a carjack. He spends most days in cafes, bars and public spaces drawing the world about him in his sketchbooks. These drawings fuel his ideas for his prints.

Graham studied at Doncaster School of Art and Manchester Polytechnic Fine Art.

He taught ceramics at HMP Lindholme 1986 to 1989, and was an Art Foundation lecturer at Doncaster College of Art 1986 to 2017.

Solo exhibitions include 20-21 Gallery Scunthorpe 2015, Sheffield University Fine Art Society 2011, and a one-man show at Doncaster Museum in 2010.
