The most important subject in Pilar’s work is the concept of time and how it affects the individuality of each human being. Her inspiration comes from her daily routines; her obsessions, worries and thoughts appear constantly in her work. Artists who influence Pilar are Louise Bourgeois and Juan Muñoz. Her work is a mixture of different techniques, from painting, photography, sculpture, and collage to printmaking.
