ENTRY PROCEDURE

This is outlined in full on the Guidelines Page.

ELIGIBILITY

All forms of intaglio printmaking are eligible. Reproduction prints are not accepted. All artwork must have been made in the past 3 years, dating from 12 September 2013.

AGE LIMITS

Artists must be 18 or over on 12 September 2016.

NUMBER OF SUBMISSIONS

Artists are allowed to submit a maximum of 6 artworks. A maximum of 3 artworks will be selected from any one artist.

INSURANCE

Works selected for exhibition will only be insured at the venue (Bankside Gallery). Artists are advised to insure their works in transit to and from the exhibition venue.

SALE OF WORKS

All works selected for exhibition must be for sale. A 45% commission will be levied on all works sold during the exhibitions or directly as a result of the exhibition. Artists must make sure that the sale prices they give include the commission. Any sales of further unframed prints will be the responsibility of the artist to deliver to the purchaser. Postage will only be charged if the print is to be sent abroad.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND COPYRIGHT

The artist will allow the work to be photographed and reproduced by the organisers for the purpose of promoting this and future National Original Print Exhibitions including catalogue, press and publicity, and websites. Copyright of all works remains the property of the artist. Any enquiries for copyright will be referred to the artist.

STUDENT APPLICATIONS

Students whose work is selected for the exhibition will be required to show student ID when delivering the work to the drop off location. Any works found to be falsely submitted as student work will not be hung.
